Discover Scuba

Discover scuba is an fun and easy introduction to the world of scuba diving. If you are not sure about taking the full Open Water Diver course right away, try Discover Scuba. This course allows the student to spend time with an instructor learning about scuba diving as an introduction and will be able to try swimming and scuba diving in a pool with a scuba unit. These classes are usually conducted in conjunction with the Part I of Open Water Diver. Class includes a short video and lecture, rental, and pool fees to play with the scuba in a pool for only $10!!! Many of our Open Water Divers started their dive lives/careers in Discover Scuba. Dates are usually concurrent with Open Water part I dates. Call for more details.

 

 
 

Open Water Diver

Dive into the PADI Open Water Diver Course, the single most popular diving course in the world. Open Water Diver is the first level of PADI scuba certification, your ticket to exciting adventure in the underwater world. The course includes academics, skill practice in confined water, and actual scuba diving in open water, all under the guidance of a 3 Little Devils instructor. We provide all the equipment necessary for certification as well as a couple extra benefits like your own set of Open Water informational videos and extended time in confined water. Your Open Water Course takes just four days to complete. The courses are conveniently scheduled into two-day blocks offered throughout the year. All you have to do is choose Part 1 (academics and confined water) before enrolling in Part 2 (open water training dives).

Advanced Open Water Course
$185

Take the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course for the price of only $185 per person. This is a fun and exciting course. AOW is all diving-no quizzes or exams to take with this course-you just dive, dive, dive! YOU WILL DO FIVE DIFFERENT KINDS OF DIVES. You can choose to do the one-weekend format or two separate days. You may start this at the end of your Part 2 and then go to Lake Wazee with us on a Sunday of an Advanced Open Water Course. This is a great way to learn about specialty dives. You will need to purchase a PADI Adventures in Diving Manual and slate and any rental gear needed. The next available dates for this are in late May/early June, here in Devil's Lake, or on any of our trips this winter and spring.

PADI Rescue Diver Course
$275

The PADI Rescue Diver course is where your doorway opens to leadership, more diving experience, and advancement of your diving abilities. This course includes both classroom and open water diving experience. In the classroom, you will learn valuable information about self-rescue, diving first aid, and emergency management procedures. In the open water diving, you will learn such valuable skills as diver assists, missing diver procedures, and some first aid techniques. CPR training is an important part of a PADI Rescue Diver course. To complete a Rescue Diver's certification you will need to be CPR trained by any national accreditation or through a PADI Emergency First Response course ($85.00 course plus manual). Divemaster & Open Water Scuba Instructor

We regret to inform you that our Divemaster and Instructor courses will no longer be available. The State of Wisconsin has hit us with numerous large fees. Unfortunately, they have no concern of the impact they may have on the economy, especially on the dive industry in Wisconsin; they just want to collect their money however they can. Therefore, we cannot offer these courses at a reasonable rate. We apologize for any inconvenience. IF you are interested, you may call us and we can help find a course in your area.

 

Emergency First Response Course

This is a PADI course that includes both First Aid and CPR training, and is also approved by the U.S. Department of Labor, Mine Safety and Health Administration, the U.S. Coast Guard and it meets OSHA requirements. Emergency First Response is a course that can be taken by divers and non-divers that are at least 12 years old. It teaches non-medically trained persons to help during an emergency situation by giving first aid treatment and using procedures that are recommended by the Journal of the American Medical Association Standards. The Student Course fee is $85.00 plus the E.F.R. Student Kit. The Instructor Course fee is $185.00 plus PADI Specialty fees.  The Instructor course is done over a 2 day period.
